Chair of the Jury | Dance historian and dance dramaturge
Dr. Patricia Stöckemann is a dance historian and dance dramaturge. She worked as editor of the magazines tanzdrama and ballett international, taught dance history and dance theory at various academies and universities, and curated exhibitions on dance history. She is the biographer of Kurt Jooss, and her specialty is modern dance in Germany. As an advisory board member of the Mary Wigman Foundation, she represents Wigman's dance legacy. From 2004 to 2012 she was dramaturg, then director of the Tanztheater Bremen and member of the collective artistic direction of the Theater Bremen, from 2012 to 2021 dramaturg and manager of the Dance Company under the artistic direction of Mauro de Candia at the Theater Osnabrück, Germany.
